Assembly is easy enough for a
beginner to do, but flying requires an
experienced pilot. The molded airframe
features factory-finished AeroCell foam.
The realistic cockpit has twin instrument
panels and two painted pilot figures.
Magnets on the canopy ensure a strong
bond, but can quickly be separated for
battery pack changes or maintenance.
Tip tanks are magnetically attached for
realism, but break free during rough
landings to prevent damage.
The servos, 35-amp ESC, ducted-fan
unit, and inrunner brushless motor are
all factory installed. The aileron servo
and pushrods are included and factory
installed. A four-channel radio, micro
receiver, and a 4S 2,200 mAh LiPo
battery pack are required to complete
the L- 39.
