There are only a few places in the world with the magical quality that appeals to kids and the kid in all of us—a place where you can stop thinking about what’s going on in your life and lose
One such place that has been a special part of my and my family’s
life is the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Aviation Museum in Rhinebeck,
New York. It’s much more than a collection of old airplanes, hangars,
and glass-box displays. It’s a living piece of aviation history.
Everything about the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome—and
what happens there—is all about the aircraft and
presenting them to the public as they were
meant to operate: in the air.
You know you are at an amazing
place when you walk down the
flightline. There is plenty of Scale
eye candy for those with a camera
and looking for documentation.
